How it Works
Community Based Participatory Research requires the participation of community members. Sankofa Research Institute projects prioritizes capacity building through offering community members mentoring opportunities and learning exchanges. Co-researchers are encouraged to participate in a project from conception to completion.

We hire and train community members because we value them as partners in knowledge production.
